Viewing Your Subscriptions

Access Subscription Dashboard

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Navigate to Billing or Subscriptions
  3. View all active subscriptions
  4. See details for each service

Subscription Information Displayed

  • Service Name: What you're subscribed to
  • Plan Details: Resources and features included
  • Billing Cycle: Monthly, quarterly, annual, etc.
  • Next Billing Date: When you'll be charged next
  • Amount: Cost per billing cycle
  • Status: Active, pending, cancelled, etc.
  • Auto-Renewal: Whether it renews automatically

Understanding Subscription Plans

Plan Tiers

Plans typically include different levels:

  • Free/Basic: Limited resources, good for testing
  • Standard: Moderate resources for small servers
  • Premium: Higher resources for active servers
  • Enterprise: Maximum resources for large communities

What's Included

Each plan includes:

  • RAM: Server memory allocation
  • CPU: Processing power
  • Storage: Disk space for worlds and files
  • Player Slots: Maximum concurrent players
  • Backups: Backup frequency and retention
  • Support: Support level and response time

Upgrading Your Subscription

When to Upgrade

Consider upgrading if you:

  • Need more RAM for plugins/mods
  • Want to support more players
  • Need additional storage space
  • Require better performance
  • Want premium features

How to Upgrade

  1. Go to Subscriptions > Your Service
  2. Click Upgrade or Change Plan
  3. Select a higher tier plan
  4. Review the changes and pricing
  5. Confirm the upgrade
  6. Changes apply immediately or at next billing cycle

Upgrade Options

  • Immediate: Changes apply right away (prorated billing)
  • Next Cycle: Changes apply at next renewal (no proration)

Downgrading Your Subscription

When to Downgrade

Consider downgrading if you:

  • Don't need current resources
  • Want to reduce costs
  • Server usage has decreased
  • Switching to a different plan

How to Downgrade

  1. Navigate to Subscriptions > Your Service
  2. Click Downgrade or Change Plan
  3. Select a lower tier plan
  4. Review what you'll lose
  5. Confirm the downgrade
  6. Changes apply at next billing cycle

Important: Downgrading may require:

  • Reducing player count
  • Removing some plugins
  • Freeing up storage space
  • Adjusting server settings

Changing Billing Cycle

Available Cycles

  • Monthly: Pay every month
  • Quarterly: Pay every 3 months (often discounted)
  • Annual: Pay yearly (best value, highest discount)

How to Change

  1. Go to Subscriptions > Billing Cycle
  2. Select desired cycle
  3. Review new pricing
  4. Confirm the change
  5. New cycle starts at next renewal

Note: Changing cycles may affect your next billing date.

Cancelling a Subscription

Before Cancelling

Consider:

  • Backup Data: Download your worlds and files
  • Export Settings: Save configurations
  • Notify Players: Let your community know
  • Alternative Options: Check if pausing is available

How to Cancel

  1. Navigate to Subscriptions
  2. Find the service to cancel
  3. Click Cancel Subscription
  4. Select cancellation reason (optional)
  5. Confirm cancellation
  6. Service continues until end of billing period

Cancellation Types

  • End of Period: Service continues until paid period ends
  • Immediate: Service stops right away (may be eligible for refund)
  • Scheduled: Cancel now, service ends on a future date

Reactivating a Cancelled Subscription

If you cancelled but want to reactivate:

  1. Go to Subscriptions
  2. Find the cancelled service
  3. Click Reactivate
  4. Confirm reactivation
  5. Service resumes immediately

Note: You may need to update payment method if it was removed.

Pausing Subscriptions

Some plans allow pausing:

  1. Go to Subscriptions
  2. Click Pause Subscription
  3. Select pause duration
  4. Service is suspended (data preserved)
  5. Resume when ready

  • Keep your data
  • Don't lose configurations
  • Resume easily later
  • May save money during breaks

Subscription Add-ons

Available Add-ons

  • Extra RAM: Additional memory
  • Extra Storage: More disk space
  • Backup Slots: Additional backup retention
  • Priority Support: Faster support response
  • Dedicated IP: Static IP address

Adding Add-ons

  1. Go to Subscriptions > Add-ons
  2. Browse available add-ons
  3. Select what you need
  4. Review pricing
  5. Add to subscription
  6. Billed with main subscription

Removing Add-ons

  1. Navigate to Add-ons
  2. Find the add-on to remove
  3. Click Remove
  4. Confirm removal
  5. Removed at next billing cycle

Managing Multiple Subscriptions

If you have multiple servers:

  • View All: See all subscriptions in one place
  • Manage Individually: Each service managed separately
  • Bulk Actions: Some actions available for multiple services
  • Consolidated Billing: All charges on one invoice

Subscription Notifications

You'll receive notifications for:

  • Upcoming Renewals: Before billing date
  • Payment Success: When payment processes
  • Payment Failed: If payment doesn't go through
  • Plan Changes: When you upgrade/downgrade
  • Cancellations: Confirmation of cancellation
  • Expiration Warnings: Before service expires

Troubleshooting

Can't Upgrade

  1. Check Payment Method: Ensure valid payment method
  2. Verify Funds: Check available balance
  3. Contact Support: For assistance with upgrades
  4. Check Limits: Some accounts have upgrade restrictions

Downgrade Not Available

  1. Check Plan: Some plans can't be downgraded
  2. Contact Support: May require manual processing
  3. Review Terms: Check subscription terms
  4. Consider Alternatives: Look for other options

Billing Issues

  1. Check Payment Method: Verify it's valid and has funds
  2. Review Invoices: Check for payment history
  3. Update Information: Update expired payment methods

Service Not Active

  1. Check Status: Verify subscription status
  2. Review Payment: Ensure payment was successful
  3. Check Expiration: Service may have expired
  4. Renew: Reactivate if needed
